Frequently asked questions
We have answered a few questions for you here already.
Trees & quality
Which species and quality classes are available?
We work with three quality classes:
- Standard: robust and affordable, with slightly less density or small, natural variations.
- A1: neat, full appearance with strong presence.
- Premium: perfect symmetry, a full crown and optimal colour and branch structure.
In height we cover 3 to 20 metres. Our trees come from three species (Abies nordmanniana, Picea abies and Picea omorika), allowing differentiation in properties such as needle retention, shape and scent.
How do you ensure consistent quality and transparent specifications?
With over 20 years of experience in the sector we have refined our processes. Every tree is selected by hand on shape, branch density, colour and vitality. Specifications are recorded before each batch, so you know exactly what you will receive. Transparency is a principle for us: at loading, everything is checked and documented.
Ordering & availability
How soon are batches available?
In the peak months of November and December our supply is largest and availability is highest. Outside that period supply is more limited, but we can often still arrange something in consultation. We recommend contacting us in good time so we can assess the options together.
When is the best time to order a Christmas tree?
What is the minimum order quantity?
Do you also supply smaller quantities?
Yes. Our offer is aimed at trade buyers, but that need not mean a large batch: we are happy to supply a few special trees as well, for example three specimens of 10 to 12 metres. We do not sell to private individuals.
Loading & transport
Which services do you offer?
We focus entirely on producing and selecting large Christmas trees and on loading batches by appointment. Transport is not part of our standard service; you arrange this yourself. If you wish, we will put you in touch with reliable logistics partners we have had good experiences with, so transport runs smoothly.
How does the process work, from order to loading?
We always start by getting acquainted, so your wishes and expectations are clear. We then agree the specifications: the height class, quality class and time window you need. Once the batch is confirmed, we schedule the loading slot and make sure everything is ready on our site. Loading takes place by appointment, with checks on uniformity and quality, including counting and documentation on departure.
Which countries do you operate in?
We mainly operate in the Ardennes, the Eifel and the Sauerland, where we handle growing, selection and loading. Our trees are bought throughout Europe, however, and sometimes beyond, depending on logistics and demand.
Can you supply Christmas trees outside the Netherlands and Belgium?
Sustainability & certification
Are you a member of a trade association or certification scheme?
We support Verband Natürlicher Weihnachtsbaum e.V., a European association of growers that promotes naturally grown Christmas trees. The association stands for responsible production with due regard for climate, nature and working conditions.
We also hold the MPS certificate (Milieu Project Sierteelt). This internationally recognised certificate shows that we work sustainably in terms of crop protection, fertilisation, energy use, waste and water consumption.
How do you approach sustainability and replanting?
Sustainability is a basic principle for us. We want future generations to enjoy real Christmas trees too, and we act accordingly: replanting is guaranteed for every harvested field, and soil care is a structural part of our growing methods.
Through our support for Verband Natürlicher Weihnachtsbaum and the MPS certificate we meet recognised criteria for the environment, biodiversity, social conditions and energy use.
